Paper Abstract:
|
Wireless Sensor Networks usually lack the proper hardware resources to analyze and visualize the gathered data by its
sensors. In general, within such networks the recorded data is just forwarded to a database. There servers with more
resources can access the data, to realize monitoring, visualization and statistical analysis. Therefore as an addition to such
WSNs an edge computing approach is proposed, where some of the compute-intensive tasks are outsourced into sub
layers. This will be applied on a sensor network, which measures several physical quantities to determine the indoor air
quality. |
